Who we are

DeTenc is a video editing service for Armenian creators, run by Arman Kostandyan, an individual based in Armenia. By creating an account or using DeTenc, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need an account to use the editor. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use DeTenc.

Plans and minutes

Each plan gives a number of minutes per month. Minutes are used when you upload a video, by the length of that video. Each upload uses at least 30 seconds.

Each video comes with 3 exports. Exporting the same video again without changes is free. Extra exports after the first 3 use minutes from your plan, by the length of the video.

Unused minutes do not carry over to the next month. Exports on the free plan carry a DeTenc watermark.

Payments

Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Your videos

Your videos, audio, text and captions stay yours. You give DeTenc permission to store and process them only to provide the service: transcribe, edit, preview and export.

Projects and their files are deleted automatically 24 hours after your latest export. Download your result in time. Projects you never export stay until you delete them.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not upload anything illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove such content and close accounts that break these rules.

The service

We work to keep DeTenc available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or online. Automatic transcription and editing can make mistakes, so check your video before you publish it.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.
